| Medical Care |
The school maintains within its premises a modest clinic with first – aid kits and necessary medicines. A team of medical doctor visits the school once a month for the medical check-up of all the students on rotation. The parents\guardians are regularly informed about the findings of the medical check-up. The school nurse is available to deal with emergency cases at any time. The school teachers are provided with regular trainings to tackle the situation of mass casualty and first- aid techniques. |
Admission Procedure |
The school announce its admission a month prior to the beginning of a new academic session. The admission forms and prospectus are distributes. Admission procedure schedule is published in the newspapers and can also be obtained from the school office. Usually the pre-primary students are selected based on the interview. Students from class one onward ( 6 Years and above ) are admitted based upon their written admission test conducted by the school. The selected students are given a time frame to complete the enrollment formalities. |
School Timings |
Usual timing for school is 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM from Baishakh to Aswin and 9:30 AM to 3:45 PM from Kartik to Chaitra. The school assembly is conducted by the four houses, in turn, both in the morning and the afternoon. This is unique in character. The prayer and mass singing directs the thoughts of the students towards moral and spiritual values, thus beginning the day for the pupils and the teachers alive, on a sublime note. The highlight of the news in each morning assembly keeps the rest of the students update with the lasted happening while helping the news presenter develop confidence among the students. Thus the morning assembly is conducted not only to create moral ambience but also to inculcate the sense of responsibility and discipline. |
Examinations |
In order to measure the academic development, exam of different form is administered as class test (weekly), Unit Test(Bi-monthly) and Terminal examination (Quarterly) which is specified in the school calendar except for the class test. |
Progress Report |
Mark sheet and report sheet of the examination is sent to the parents to be informed about the progress of the child in academics. Parents/Guardians are required to visit the school personally to have an interaction with the respective subject teachers and the class teacher during the result announcements of the terminal examinations. |
Uniforms |
Students are required to attend the school in proper school uniform as specified. The sample is made available from the school. Other supplementary uniform items such as tir, belt, badges and identity card are made available from the school itself. Half shirt is necessary during summer while Nave-blue blazer is required during winter. Strict vigilance of the uniform of students is the duty of the class teacher and the Sisciplinary In-Charge. |
Discipline |
Students are required to maintain the discipline of school. In case of violation of any discipline, the students will be given serious warning and notification will be given to the parents with suspension for a period of time. The students may even be expelled from the school in case pf serious breach of any rule and regulation of the school. The discretion remains with the school discipline committee. |
Tours and Excursions |
Excursions are taken to all the classed as per the requirement of the subjects they undertake. Prior notification is given to the parents / guardians for such excursion so that necessary preparation can be made. Visit to the places having cultural, traditional, industrial or biological importance helps realize the importance of such places. Visualization of the course matter is the prime objective of these visits. |
